I can’t believe it’s December. It’s not simply the fact that time has flown, but the surealism of it all hit me today. Ray and I went Christmas shopping today at the outdoor mall. He was in shorts, flip flops and a T-shirt. Christmas music filled the air, and decorations were put up in most stores and around the sidewalk. However, it was just not the Christmas feel I’m used to. I can’t complain though. Somehow it makes the hustle and bustle more bearable, when you can escape outside to the warmth of the sun. We managed to pick up quite a few more gifts, so I was pleased. Ray stopped at Target on our way home and I on the off chance I could find some black, strappy shoes I looked. To my delight, I found a pair in my size and for only $10. Woo hoo! They were quite similar to a pair I tried on last week (and liked) that were $40! So, I now I have shoes to go with my dress. We found Feivel Goes West at the Goodwill and enjoyed it when we got home. I had not seen that movie since I was a child. It’s much different now, but I enjoyed it. I haven’t written in awhile, so I thought I’d update all those who are wondering what’s up in Melissa world. Later!
