It is growing increasingly harder to come up with original colour schemes for these blogs. Anyway, not much news to report. Currently, I am nursing my dear husband back to health. He is fighting a sinus/chest infection. He decided to call in sick, which he has not done before, so I hope his boss is not upset.
Last night we watched the results of American Idol. I was so relieved to see Lisa go back to the "safe" group. Honestly, I was hoping Kevin would go because I don’t really like his voice. He has potential but it’s not really growing on me. However, once Ryan said goodbye to Kevin and sent Bucky back to safety I felt bad. I suppose it is because I know how terrible it must feel to get that far and have to leave. I’d never make it! All my favourites were safe though. Ray watched the beginning of the new Fox reality show Ultimatum…something like that anyway. He was just curious to see how rigged it looked. Apparently, it looked incredibly rigged so he turned if off and came to bed. Poor guy hardly slept though.
My mommy’s birthday is on Sunday, for those who wish to send her a greeting! She got her first issue of Country Living yesterday, so I am hoping mine isn’t too far behind. Ray and I got her a subscription for her birthday and I got one too because it was $12 for 12 issues. It’s the simple things in life! Still waiting on Gilmore Girls to finally have a new episode…argh! I just ran out of Season 5 episodes too…’sniff’
