That’s assuming that abortion is an issue relating to "a part of my body". It isn’t. Abortion is dealing with the taking of an innocent baby’s life so this question is phrased in a truly misguided and bias way. I think if something that harms me or could harm someone else that I do to my body should be regulated.

I think that believing in God can make you stronger if you choose to accept the strength He can offer you.

It can be bothersome on one hand because some people do not realize how easy they have it. People should ideally be thankful for all that they have, but it is easy to rely on emotions and sometimes feelings make a bigger deal out of an issue than there ought to be. Sometimes our problems seem insurmountable, no matter how ridiculous they are/were but I know in my case it doesn’t mean I do not care about the famine, disease etc. going on around me, it just means that I will do the best I can to eliminate/aid in these areas but I also have to live my life and if that means that I sometimes get up in arms about something stupid, that’s life.

No. I can’t think of any drink that is worth $5.

Life seems to show prices go up and down fairly regularily regardless of who’s in office. Other than that I have no idea and frankly there are worse things that are happening while because he is in office.

Oh, I sadly think he has the power to induce change.

I am not as well versed on the matter as I’d like to be, so I honestly can’t say. All I know is, a lot of soldiers have died and if there was no need to be over there, I wouldn’t think there would be any fatalities.

Sadly, I do believe it but I by no means agree with it. I don’t even think it’s right to wear a bikini to the beach because it leaves very little to the imagination, so putting what should be completely private on display for all to see and in easy access to teenagers and potentially children is even worse. And adults shouldn’t watch that junk either. I cannot watch a great majority of the movies out today…I was horrified just at Hugh Jackman’s exposed behind in X-Men: Wolverine.

You mean illegal ones? Yes. And really, any others should be used in moderation.

I think that it is very easy for anyone to get swallowed into addiction whether it be to drugs, alcohol, pornography or something less obvious like television or internet use. It does make them weak in a sense but they don’t have to be and I do pity the situation for them if they do not know Christ because He is where true deliverance lies.
What about homeless people, couldn’t they just get a job like the rest of us?
I don’t think anyone is beyond helping. Some people may need a bigger hand up than others but I am with my high school history teacher who suggested “a hand up, not a hand out”.

I’ve gotten sucked into watching a few seasons of American Idol but I decided that it was better that I refrain from watching it because there are better things to do with my time and energy.
What about reality shows like Survivor and etc?
Again, I was surprised recently at how easily I got sucked into watching the variety of reality shows out there. They all have some angle and they know how to hype up the drama etc. But, as with Idol, I know it is a waste of time and only breeds a negative world view.

I don’t like Scrubs and I have never seen The Office…can’t really think of any shows like them at the moment, so I’ll just say “no”.

I think people are easily offended about stupid things, yes but that should not be confused with being offended about the issues that matter. There is plenty that offends me about the world I am living in as a Christian and there is nothing wrong with that. There would be if I weren’t but people shouldn’t be so afraid to step on toes.
Do you think file sharing (downloading music) is really that horrible of a crime?
I understand both sides of the coin and if I were an artist trying to make a living, like everyone else, I would want to see some money come my way. I think making music more readily available in a cost effective manner would be nice. I cannot justify purchasing one song online for $0.99 but I have in the past purchased a CD single for $1.00. Not only is it something tangible but it often includes remixes or bonus songs, so that is worth the prices to me. They should start that up again, rather than all these format issues with mp3s and compatibility issues blah blah blah.
Shouldn’t the musicians care a little less if their music is shared around the internet for free, I mean they do make at least a billion a year, right?
I think some musicians do make more money than they probably should given what they do, but at the same time, who am I to decide that just because they make more money than me I should rob them of royalties? And where do you draw the line?

There’s something about the way this question is worded that irks me, but that aside, yes it does sort of annoy me. I can understand highlights or temporary colour but at the same time, I am happy with what God gave me so I wish others were as well.
Is a good sound system in a car something that is important to you?
A working one would be nice, but it doesn’t have to be state of the art, especially since I do not care to be one of those cars people pull up next to that is vibrating and buzzing from the bass and you just shake your head at the fact the occupants of that vehicle are killing their hearing.

Don’t you think everyone would be a lot happier if they stopped worrying about their body so much?
I think people would be a lot happier if they believed in the One who created us in His image and thus realized how beautiful we are to Him. However, since that is hard for even those who do call Him “Father” to accept and apply in his/her life, I know it is even harder for the world to see their body in a good light. Worry about taking care of your body but don’t obsess over perfection but start with the inside.
You spend a lot of money on things you can get cheaper, like make-up, etc?
I am thrifty, if that is what you mean and since I do not wear make-up a whole lot, that is one area I am fine with skimping on. I’ve splurged on it before only to have it sit in my Caboodle for over three years.

Depends on what they’re saying. I respect your choice to believe what you will but it can be overbearing, even when I agree, when everything that someone says is about religion. Then again, as a Christian, my Christianity is less religion and more of a relationship. It’s a way of life, so it is very common for it to come up in my conversations and I am sure I have put off people because of this but that’s who I am.

I read a comment on an article about a little girl that was murdered along the lines of “Why are you all saying you’re prayers are with this family? Where was your God when this little girl was brutally murdered?” I just wanted to say, He was where He has always been just as Satan is happily wandering the Earth causing misery and hurt, happily dancing with joy each time God is credited for the misfortunes that befall people, rather than him. Sin is why such horrible things happen and though God does not want them to occur, I believe He can use anything to His glory if that is His plan.

It depends on the person. Some people cling to God in times of trouble while others curse and blame Him. Really, terrible things happening in our life can be our fault, it can be Satan’s fault and on rare occasion it can be a test of faith.

I think I already touched on this topic earlier. At the time, in the moment, when the emotions are flaring, yeah, you bet it feels like the end of the world. Is it really? No. As you mature do you realize that there are worse things to get upset over? In time, yes. But there will still be days where little things get to you and it doesn’t make you insensitive to the hardships of those around you, it just makes you human.
