I was so excited I got to go out yesterday! After church, Ray’s sisters (my sister-in-laws) went out with Ray and I to just see what there was to do. I got to have Wendy’s, which was nice because my brother got to go and I had a craving since then. We visited Ray’s mom and then went to the mall. I used my Pier 1 gift card finally to get a lamp I’ve wanted. It looks so nice in our living room and adds the warm light we needed. Then, I got all excited over pillows in Big Lots! They have the Coca Cola bears on them. I like Coca Cola knick knacks and stuff, so I was all excited. Ray told me it was ok to get them, so I was happy:) Now, they’re sitting on our loveseat, hoping that we get slipcovers soon…’cause the green and white stripes clash. I also got a sketch book!!! Yipee:) I have paper to draw on again!!! That is exciting for me, as you can see. So, it was nice to get out of the house and off the island for awhile. Poor Ray was kinda singled out, being the only guy and all, but he faired well. On Saturday, we watched Win a Date With Tad Hamilton. I had not been too interested when it first came out, but it was at the library so we had nothing to lose in borrowing it. It actually turned out to be cute. I liked it! Ray even enjoyed parts of it:) However, just for the fun of it I grabbed New York Minute, with the Olsen twins. Parts of it were alright but overall it was just painful. I just can’t seem to take them seriously…and I can’t believe they’re my age! I suppose people think the same of me-_- So, this week-end turned out to be pretty cool. My dear husband has been bringing things home from the shop that either he picked out, or the boss gave him (his boss is out of business and thus is cleaning shop). We are now the proud owners of several bookcases and shelves. However, I did ask for some:) Now, I just gotta get my books down here! Thurday we’re planning to go to the fair, and we want to go see the demolition derby. Hope that all works out nicely. His older sis is taking us. Ok, well I think that’s it. I finally had something to write so I thought I’d update those who care:) See ya!
